Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
So I finally saw the movie last week and thought it came out pretty good.
My only complaint was the lack of Ron/Hermione action since that's when they officially got together in the books, but other than that it didn't deviate so much from the book.
What did you guys think?

Oh this is gonna be fun for me!!!!!!
Well I saw the movie at midnight when it came out...and first off...it was fun because over half the people there were dressed up and the costumes were actually really good!
Second fun thing!
We got a New Moon trailer and everyone BOOed!!!!!!! That made me LAUGH!!!! Everyone hated Twilight and wanted it off the screen...I was satisfied because I find Twilight way overrated
Now onto the movie!
Overall, I thought the pacing was good and whatnot...
Here is what made me kinda mad...
1) what the hell was up with that chick at the train station?! That was never in the book!
2) What happened to the Durselys?!
3) There should have been WAY more flashbacks! Including Snape's stuff!
4) Also...Lupin and Tonks BARELY got any screen time!!!!! We were supposed to find out that Tonks and Lupin were in love and he said they couldn't be together!!! We never saw that conflict!
5) Why the HELL did the Burrow burn down?! That never happened either!!!!
6) the Ginny/Harry thing...didn't turn out really well...the kiss was pitiful and it was a lot of build up to not much of anything...
7) what killed me was how silly they ended up making that final scene...the Three were having a gorgeously beautiful, subtle moment reflecting on Dumbldore and talking about the Horcruxes when Hermione goes "Oh by the way, Ron's fine with you and Ginny." that made me face palm!
Oh where was our new Minister of Magic?
sorry...I was one of the people that wasn't blown away by the movie lol
I am glad they showed more of Draco because this was important for him...
and like I said...overall it was pretty good...definitely better than numbers 2,3, and 4

Haha you're right on all your points Yuri, I was disappointed in all the romantic aspects of the movie and yeah, the ending was kind of lame
It wasn't my favorite of the HP movies, but I still liked it a lot lol. Alan Rickman is an amazing actor of course and they cast Lavender Brown spot on, I wanted to slap her in the books and onscreen lol

You have to read the book! It's so much better and they give Sirius's death more of an impact.

I cried when read the book and watched he movie. I really loved the way Gary oldman protrade Sirius. Just like how I love how Alan Rickman and Jason Issacs protray: Severus Snape and Lucius Malfoy.

They never failed with casting that's for sure, though Richard Harris is the better Dumbledore in my opinion, But we had to replace him unfortunately.
Sirius Black and Remus Lupin are my two favorite characters, and they were cast brilliantly.

I just wish in the 5th movie, we got to see Sirius play a practical joke on Severus.

Re: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
I loved the movie, even though half of the HP universe has a dislike for David Yates (from what I hear LOL). It was worth a year of waiting. I liked the part where Harry drank the Felix Feclcis and of course I wanted to throw my popcorn at WonWon and LavLav, they were hilarous though. I cried when Harry cried...my dad thought I was bloody mad and half the theater was sniffling and choking back tears and my dad didn't shed a tear lol.
I think come Deathly Hallows I'll be sobbing, especially during the second part.
Then there's Snape and Draco. I LOVE Snape but not as much as Draco (sighs dreamily).
A lot of parts bugged me as well:
1. The kiss between Harry and Ginny. I had to face palm myself and roll my eyes.
2. Dumbledore's funeral was replaced with Ron, Hermione, and Harry instead. WHY?!?
3. The Burrow burning down. That wasn't in the book last time I checked.
4. There was a flashback missing, the one with Voldemort's mother, Merope.
I have a LONG list of things.
But I liked it anyways, it wasn't the best but I saw it in IMAX though, its really cool.

Re: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
I for one loved it.
I thought that it gave a better performance telling the sotry than any of the movies in the past two years.
I liked that it had a lot of funny moments, and some dramatic/sad moments as well.
Although I wished they would've approached the Love aspect of the book better.

Re: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
I thought it was hilarious. It followed the book but it did get confusing at then end... why didn't they put Dumbledores funeral? And why did they set the Burrow on fire? The seventh book won't make any sense when they make the movie! Harry on the Lucky potion and Ron on the Love potion was hilarious... me and my neighbours yelled out that they were on drugs xD. Lavender was hilarious as well. All in all it was a good movie.

My favorite scene in the movie, was between Hermione and Harry in the libaray. That was hilarious when she hit him over the head with a piece of parchment.

That part upset me as well. I heard from my friends that read the book, they said there was this whole big chapter about Harry and Ginny's kiss.
